Influence of europium doping on the crystallization, morphology, and the cathodoluminescent properties of PbNb2O6:Eu3+ phosphors

Undoped PbNb2O6 and Eu3+ ion doped samples were synthesized by high temperature mixed oxide method, applying a heat treatment of 1250°C an annealing time 6 hours. In order to elucidate the structural optical behavior PbNb2O6:Eu3+ phosphors, XRD (X-ray diffraction), SEM (scanning electron microscopy), EDS (energy dispersive spectroscopy), CL (cathodoluminescence) absoption analyses performed. The X-ray diffraction results showed that undoped sample crystallized in rhombohedral symmetry while formed orthorhombic symmetry. morphologies grains examined SEM-EDS. spectra spectral profiles between 580 780 nm relation 4f–4f transitions Eu3+. A strong emission was observed at about 620 nm, corresponding red color associated with 5D0 → 7F2 transition Eu3+, did not exhibit host which is probably due presence lead structure. addition, analysis intensity increased increase concentration. magnetic dipole caused beam radiation effect increasing doping concentration change moments tungsten bronze thus differentiating spectrum. UV lamp excited photograph blue-violet phosphors became more significant
